NOVUSS 

This game was brought to Latvia(and Estonia) by seamen and is an altered version of the game they used to play in ports of other Northern European countries. Novuss is among Latvian national sports and in some ways resembles billiard but table has square form and balls are replaced with pucks.

Only few people know that popular board game Ice Cool was born in Latvia and was developed by Latvian division of Brain Games. Born in Latvia and is now played worldwide.
Since its appearance it has collected a number of prestigious awards including Spiel des Jahres (Game of the year) - "Oscar" in board game industry.Check shops for the game and YouTube to learn some tricks.
